Hotel Del Sol - Pensacola, Pensacola

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were in disrepair and very dirty, needing serious maintenance, but luckily the service was great and nice. The location was convenient for our needs, although a bit sketchy. The dining in the morning was a disappointment, but the Thai dishes were enjoyable. Overall, the facilities were adequate, with some room for improvement.

The front desk was chaotic with unprofessional staff, including a manager. However, the service improved during check-in and check-out, even though replacements were slow. The location, while 15-20 minutes from the beach, was affordable, but I was dismayed to find drugs in the room. The dining options were limited, with only basic choices available, but the facilities were average.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I found it was conveniently located in the heart of the action, close to the beach and surrounded by various dining options. While the rooms had a strange odor and there were some issues with key access, the overall experience was dampened by unhelpful staff. The location, however, was central and vibrant, though encountering beggars was off-putting. The dining options fell short, leading me to buy my own pillows for comfort. On the positive side, the hotel's proximity to the beach and fun world was a plus.
